About Me

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Child Development as well as my Teaching Credential from California State University, Northridge. I completed and earned my Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Bakersfield. This is my 28th year teaching, and my 24th in the Saugus District.

I am married and have two children.  My daughter graduated from Chapman University with her Baclelors degree and is finishing her Masters. She is student teaching this year, and loves to ride horses. My son is a junior at Chapman University and is a pitcher on the baseball team, which won the World Series in June.  My husband is a Vice President of Facilities Management and interim Vice President of Campus Planning and Design at Chapman University.  We have one dog, a chocolate lab named Sassy.  We love to travel, be outdoors, and spend time with family.  I look forward to a fun and full year of learning adventures.
